2023: The band started the year at the Shasta Celtic Society’s annual Burn’s Night Supper. Nice to be back at it live and in person. Please check our Events and appearances page for the 2023 St. Patrick’s Day appearances.

Memories from 2017 in Glasgow at “The Worlds”

September: Grade 5 band tied for 2nd place in the MSM at Pleasanton but took 3rd place due to ensemble judge pick. The band took 4th place in the QMM.

Congratulations to the solo pipers and drummers of the JPB who placed last weekend in Pleasanton. They are:
Grade 1 Piping
Gavin Guidotti 2nd Place in the MSR
4th Place in the Hornpipe/Jig
5th Place in the 6/8 March


Grade 3 Piping
John Elliott 1st Place in the6/8 March
3rd Place in the Strathspey/Reel
5th Place in the2/4 March

Carrie Wigham 5th Place in the Strathspey/Reel
6th Place in the 6/8 March

Don Saraceno 3rd Place in the Strathspey/Reel
6th Place in the Piobaireachd

Grade 4 Drumming
Caleb Guidotti 2nd Place in the 6/8 March
4th Place in the 2/4 March

April: Grade 5 took 1st place at the Woodland Northern California Celtic Festival. Grade 4 took 2nd place at the same event.

May: The JPB participated in the Redding Rodeo Parade and at the Grants Pass Boatnik Parade. Various member played at veteran’s memorial events from Los Molinos California to Grants Pass Oregon.

June: The JPB again led the Shasta High School graduation on June 9. June 17 finds the band performing at Porchfest in Grants Pass from 11:00am-3:00pm

2022: The Jefferson Pipe Band Grade 4 places 3rd in both the Timed Medley and the MSR at the Monterey Games

2021: The Jefferson Pipe Band Grade 4 places 1st in both the MSR and the Timed Medley at the 155th Pleasanton Highland Games.

The Jefferson Pipe Band G5 takes 1st in QMM, 2nd in MSM at the 2019 SF Caladonian Club’s 154th Pleasanton Highland Games!!!
