Our Last Free Day in Scotland

Hard to believe this is our last free day in Scotland. Tomorrow, we leave Aberlour to head back to Glasgow.

Today, we plan to visit the Abbey outside of Elgin. Pluscarden Abbey is centries old, and still an active Catholic Benedictine monastary. It is the only midevil monastary in the UK still being used for it’s original purpose.

1 of 2 posts missed.

Inverray was a stormy time, but beautiful area. We were able to meet the Duke of Argyll. visited with Stuart and Sabina and had a great BBQ.

Some Fantastic Donors

Thinking back on our amazing friends who have helped us in our preparation to travel to Scotland brings to mind two very special donors. The first is the Living Memorial Sculpture Garden along with the Weed Kiwanis for their support. By far our largest group donor, and some very special friends. The second is an amazing lady who is soon to have her 100th birthday, Georgina Burns from Central Point Oregon. We hope to be able to come play for her birthday when we return from Scotland. Such a generous gift! We will be mentioning other donors in the future, but felt these two needed mentioning before we leave. Thank you for helping to make our dream come true.
