The Jefferson Pipe Band

THE JEFFERSON PIPE BAND, INC. (JPB) in the late 1990’s. The name “The Jefferson Pipe Band” reflects area the band represents. Members come from Grants Pass Oregon to the North and Woodland, CA to the South.

The JPB has two grades of competition bands. The Grade 4 band is under the direction of Sr PM. Rob Jeffs. The Grade 5 band is under the direction of Jr PM Bob Skinner.

The band has competed at the World’s in Glasgow in 2017.

Our primary goal is to teach students of all ages to play the Great Highland Bagpipes or one of the Scottish Highland drums, to continue to serve our communities, and preserve the traditions of Celtic music and culture.

The Jefferson Pipe Band is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax-exempt corporation. Contributions to the band are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.

The Band sponsors their own piping and drumming workshops, performs at
memorials, and attends continuing education workshops throughout the West for the band’s benefit.

The band’s support of our communities includes providing entertainment at various community functions from Grants Pass to Chico. We also support various veterans organizations and and provide the honorable sound of the Great Highland Bagpipe at memorials.
